While the majority of our offerings are made up of coffees we buy from the same producers year over year, there is a percentage of releases that end up coming from notable coffee growers in adjacent neighborhoods. This is one way we can continue deepening relationships with importer partners, producer communities AND customers alike. Win/win/win/win/win/etc.
Sometimes with these budding relationships, there’s not much of a story to tell beyond “this coffee really knocked us out among a neighborhood of samples”. It’s only after a few years of consecutive buying rounds that a producer’s story unfolds after enough importer visits and gentle pressure on our end to eke out specifics.
This is 100000% the case with Au
